OYSTA-Marida is a Ghanaian-owned catering, restauranteur, tourism, leisure, entertainment, and general hospitality business. Established in June 2010, OYSTA-Marida is now a holding company of several subsidiaries and brands in the food catering, hospitality, leisure, and tourism sectors. In addition, the company provides general events management services.

OYSTA-Marida is also the holding company of the OYSTA Academy of Catering, Hospitality, Events, and Tourism Marketing, a workplace vocational training institute. The OYSTA Academy subsidiary is a premium catering and hospitality institute offering certified practical workplace internships alongside formally structured curricula.

Beginnings in Ghana

The company began operations in Ghana.

March 2011

Launch of TayiBa Restaurant & Papa Razzi Pizzas

Constructed and opened its first flagship concept restaurant – TayiBa Restaurant & Papa Razzi Pizzas at the University of Ghana Botanical Gardens. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Ghanaian and Continental cuisine and is renowned for its unique architectural design.

February 2015

Introduction of Papa Razzi Mobile Food Vending (MFV)

Launched the Papa Razzi mobile food vending (MFV) scheme, operated using mobile kitchenettes in collaboration with Coca-Cola. This scheme was ideal for picnics, corporate events, and parties.

January 2021

Expansion of TayiBa Restaurant and New Services

Expanded the TayiBa restaurant's physical facilities to enhance corporate catering services and introduce new Quick Food Service (QFS) brands and the OYSTA Catering & Hospitality Academy.

September 2018

Partnership with Intercity STC Coaches Limited

Contracted by Intercity STC Coaches Limited to provide hostess and catering services to enhance passenger experience across Ghana and the West African sub-region.
